Get Your Adidas ‘Barbie’ Football Boots!

For breast cancer awareness month, Adidas are making custom pink-coloured F50s. It’s actually part of the exciting ‘customise your F.50s’ section on the Adidas website, where you can create your own boots. I’m massively into this. Because I like anything customised.
Here in America I’ve noticed loads of Sports teams wearing girly pink for this cancer charity, I just wonder how many Premiership footballers will be ‘sinking the pink’ in the name of charidee?

Umbro Limited Edition England Home Shirt

Iconic designer Peter Saville has knocked up these special edition versions of the new England home kit, featuring the interesting rainbow-coloured crosses all over the fabric. Some smart arse blogger recently described the pattern as a ‘wizard’s sneeze’…and here it looks like Merlin’s got flu. Go on then, I’m interested…

“The pattern – a series of tiny St George’s Crosses in red, blue, green and purple – covers the entire shirt, creating a visually stunning motif that is guaranteed to make you stand out from the crowd,” says Umbro. Either way, the collecting fraternity will be feverishly bashing their credit card numbers into Umbro.com once again.

There’s a jacket too.

Both the limited home shirt and the limited edition Anthem will be on sale from October 12th. To see more pictures, take a look at Umbro’s Flickr stream, or take a look at Umbro.com. But you want my opinion? They should play in this limited edition shirt, just once, to hype up interest. It’s not often enough that shirts are used for one game only….what’s the harm?
