Customise Your Adidas Boots? MSB Gets Crayons Out.

In Blog on December 28, 2010 at 11:36 pm

AdiZero F50s are the lightest, most ‘stamp on my naked toes’ boots ever created. Highly desirable even in factory standard yellow or black, now they’ve let you go wild in the aisles with your own colours and ideas. Oh yes, you can design your own Adidas boots at ‘Mi Adidas‘ now, so MudSweatBadges got our crayons out to have a pop.

By the way, these boots are $256.00 in America, (where I am currently) however they are a whopping £230.00 in England. I knew there was a bonus to moving continents. Anyway, I still can’t afford them, so I enclose my designs. They’re a US 10, medium width- if anyone’s reading this at Adidas who wants to donate a pair, this is what I’d like!

And an American flag, of course. Cheers!

WTF is this Prototype Adidas Boot on eBay?

A grab from the mystery eBay auction

“They are UNRELEASED and will be worn by big players such as: Messi, David Villa, Nani, Dani Alvez, and many many more,” says the eBay auction for these bizarre, ‘Back to the Future’ editions of the popular F50 boot. ”Set to be released in 2011. Weigh just 5.8 ounces. GRAB YOURSELF A BARGAIN!”
They look pretty odd to be honest, and that tongue must be a joke. But this might just be the ‘Adizero Prime’ Adidas have been promising.

Just several months after the release of the Adidas F50 Adizero, pictures were already circulating the net of the ‘Prime’ (below)

As you can see from these photos, the design of the Prime will be slightly different than the current Adidas F50 Adizero, and there are what looks like Predator fins on the instep.

For the meantime, the ‘eBay Primes’ may be just a practical joke, or perhaps a leaked release of next season’s boot. Or perhaps even some moody Hong Kong replicas from some dodgy market stall. You decide, here.

Mexican Madness

In Blog on December 18, 2010 at 4:48 pm

As you may have read on my Umbro.com blog, I’m rather partial to a drop of Mexican soccer. And this little beauty just showed up on eBay…

Aguirre was one the best midfielders of Mexican history. He was a former World Cup 1986 player and also played for Nasl team Los Angeles Aztecs . He is both an America de Mexico and Chivas de Guadalajara idol. This is his
shirt and I covet it. for realsies.
